Mitten im Herzen von Berlin schaffen wir einen Raum, um neue Perspektiven kennenzulernen und die Vielfalt kongolesischer Kultur, Community und Aktivismus in Deutschland zu erleben.

Congo Week 2026 – for the first time in Berlin in partnership with MAAYA
We warmly invite you to Congo Week 2026 – an action-packed week full of culture, exchange and empowerment from and about the Congo.
Right in the heart of Berlin, we are creating a space to discover new perspectives and experience the diversity of Congolese culture, community and activism in Germany.
Look forward to a varied 7-day programme featuring:
– Updates on the security situation in eastern Congo
– A Congo photo exhibition & bookstall from the Theodor Wonja Michael Library
– A decolonial guided tour of Berlin
– Inspiring panel discussions featuring voices from the Congolese diaspora and activists directly from the DRC
– Film screenings, music & dance, authentic Congolese food and much more
