Liebe Gruselfans und Genossis,
Es ist endlich wieder Herbst, und was wäre Herbst ohne Halloween?
Wie jedes Jahr organisieren wir eine Kostümparty mit Solizweck.
Alle Einnahmen der Party gehen an eine befreundete Familie in Kuba.
Ladet also all eure Genossis, Mitbewohner*innen, Friends und Geschwistis ein, wir freuen uns auf schaurig-schöne Kostüme.
Unser Motto dieses Mal ist „Monster High Society“: Ob euer Lieblingsghoul der Monster-High-Reihe oder das schlimmste Mitglied der High Society – lasst eurer Kreativität freien Lauf!
Damit aber alle sich wohlfühlen können, beachtet bitte:
🎃 Eure Kostümen sollten keinen Ableismus (zB Prothesen, „Buckel“, große Narben), keinen Rassismus und spezifisch keine Cultural Appropriation reproduzieren. Bitte auch nicht als Polizist*in etc verkleiden.
🎃 Haustiere fühlen sich bei lauter Musik und vollen Räumen selten wohl, bringt bitte keine mit! Assistenzhunde sind natürlich eine Ausnahme.
🎃 Corona existiert weiterhin, und nach wie vor sind Leute drauf angewiesen, dass wir solidarisch miteinander sind. Testet euch bitte vorher.
🎃 Es wird live Musik geben und zwar eher laute. 🎃 Es ist aber auch für barrierearme Rückzugsorte gesorgt.
🎃Vor der Zwille ist etwa 100m lang Kopfsteinpflaster. Am Eingang ist eine ca. 3cm hohe Schwelle.
🎃Die Toiletten sind im Gebäude gegenüber (KF) im EG mit einer Rampe zugänglich. Eine Barrierefreie Toilette ist auf Anfrage zugänglich.

Dear spooky enthusiasts and comrades,
Fall has come, and what would fall be without Halloween?
We organize our yearly costume party with a solidarity purpose.
All proceeds from the party go to friends and their family in Cuba.
Invite your comrades, roommates, friends and siblings, we’re looking forward to your spooky costumes.
This year’s motto, „Monster High Society“: Be it your favorite ghoul of the Monster-High series, or the worst member of High Society – let your creativity rule!
In order for everyone to feel comfortable, please bear in mind:
🎃 Your costumes should not reproduce ableism (eg. prostheses, hunchbacks, large scars), no racism and specifically no cultural appropriation. Please don’t dress as police either.
🎃 Animals rarely feel comfortable in crowded spaces with loud music, please leave them at home! Service animals are, of course, an exception.
🎃 Covid still exists, and people rely on each other’s solidarity to enjoy the party safely. Please come tested!
🎃 There will be loud live music.
🎃 There will be low-barrier spaces to retreat. Feel free to speak to our Awareness Team for more information.
🎃 There are approximately 100m of cobblestone in front of the Zwille. There is a 3cm high threshold at the entrance.
🎃The restrooms are on the ground floor of the opposite building (KF) and are accessible by ramp. A wheelchair accessible toilet can be opened on request.
🎃 The party takes place inside the Zwille and the area outside of it. Inside there will mainly be dancefloor, bar, küfa (kitchen-for-all), and some seating options. Outside is more space for conversation, football table, and lounging.
