Whilst the political parties are celebrating in Berlin city centre following the election, Antifa remains essential in the east of the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following our actions against the AfD\u2019s election campaign, we\u2019d like to plan new actions and network with you.<\/p>\n

To this end, we\u2019ll be meeting at WB13 before the concert and then enjoying a great evening together afterwards.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, there\u2019ll be a concert featuring YOK and KARA.BINA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be a collection pot for those affected by repression at Marzahn Pride.<\/p>\n

Everyone who wants to get involved in anti-fascist activism in the neighbourhood in a self-organised way, independently of the state or political parties, and who shares a fundamental anti-racist and feminist consensus, is welcome to attend the Open Antifa Meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2192 To mark the \u20186 Years of Ari in Berlin-Moabit\u2019 anniversary, musician Hyunsong Lee will perform her self-composed concert \u2018What Remains?\u2019 \u2013 \u2018A marimba solo project about war and memory\u2019.<\/p>\n

She aims to draw attention to the importance of remembering the past.<\/p>\n

Following the musical performance, Prof. Dr Margo Okazawa-Rey will give a lecture in English.<\/p>\n

Entitled \u2018Military Sexual Slavery and Violence: Same Old Patriarchal Game Plan\u2019 (German: Sexual enslavement and violence in the military:<\/p>\n

Ihre Geschichte beginnt mit der Nakba, der Katastrophe von 1948:<\/p>\n

Twenty percent of Israel\u2019s population (around two million people) are Palestinian citizens of Israel.<\/p>\n

Their story begins with the Nakba, the catastrophe of 1948: while roughly 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from or fled their homes, about 150,000 remained within the newly established State of Israel & were granted citizenship under the 1952 Nationality Law.<\/p>\n

The panel discusses historical continuities from the Nakba to the present, social and spatial realities, and legal strategies. How can Palestinians use Israeli citizenship to protect their existence? Under what conditions does Jewish-Palestinian cooperation in politics and civil society work? And what role does the international community play?<\/p>\n
