What\u2019s actually happening in France right now \u2013 and what can we learn from it?<\/strong><\/p>\nFor several weeks now, school pupils have been protesting against social inequality, poor facilities and current crises.<\/p>\n
Alongside this, many people are taking to the streets to protest against rising living costs and President Macron\u2019s policies.<\/p>\n
In Belgium and Albania, too, school pupils are demonstrating against austerity measures and conditions in the education sector.<\/p>\n
And in Germany, the school strike against compulsory military service is becoming increasingly visible.<\/p>\n
We want to discuss together what lies behind the protests, what we can learn from developments in France, and how we can support school pupils who are standing up for their interests and rights.<\/p>\n
Everyone who wants to become active in the neighbourhood in an anti-fascist capacity \u2013 in a self-organised and independent manner, free from the state or political parties \u2013 and who shares a fundamental anti-racist and feminist consensus is welcome at the Open Antifa Meeting.<\/p>\n
