6 Years of Ari in Berlin-Moabit<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2192 To mark the \u20186 Years of Ari in Berlin-Moabit\u2019 anniversary, musician Hyunsong Lee will perform her self-composed concert \u2018What Remains?\u2019 \u2013 \u2018A marimba solo project about war and memory\u2019.<\/p>\n

She aims to draw attention to the importance of remembering the past.<\/p>\n

Following the musical performance, Prof. Dr Margo Okazawa-Rey will give a lecture in English.<\/p>\n

Entitled \u2018Military Sexual Slavery and Violence: Same Old Patriarchal Game Plan\u2019 (German: Sexual enslavement and violence in the military:<\/p>\n

Always the Same Patriarchal Game Plan), she will shed light on the exploitation of women and sexualised violence against women by US military personnel stationed in the region.<\/p>\n

She will also highlight the connection and continuity of the \u2018comfort women\u2019 system right up to the present day.<\/p>\n

Translation into German will be provided.<\/p>\n
