Woche 1 von \u201eThe Palestine Chronicles\u201c ist da!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Diese Woche dreht sich alles um ein einziges Ereignis, aber es ist ein bedeutendes.<\/p>\n

Die Ausstellung \u201ePicturing Scholasticide\u201c dokumentiert die systematische Zerst\u00f6rung des pal\u00e4stinensischen Bildungssystems durch Israel, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf dem Gazastreifen liegt.<\/p>\n

Dank\u00a0 @academicboycottnow\u00a0 \u00a0bringen wir sie nach Deutschland und f\u00fchlen uns geehrt, diese bewegende Ausstellung er\u00f6ffnen zu d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n

Um den Kontext zu vertiefen und den Austausch zu f\u00f6rdern, veranstalten wir am Freitag, dem 16., eine Podiumsdiskussion \u00fcber die Ausstellung und dar\u00fcber, wie die Pal\u00e4stinenser in Gaza sich gegen den \u201eScholasticide\u201c wehren.<\/p>\n

Die Podiumsdiskussion ist Teil einer zweiteiligen Reihe; die zweite Veranstaltung am 30. Oktober konzentriert sich auf das Westjordanland \u2013 also seid auch darauf gespannt.<\/p>\n

Sowohl die Ausstellung als auch die Podiumsdiskussion finden im \u201ePlenarsaal\u201c im AStA-Geb\u00e4ude statt.<\/p>\n

Sobald Sie das Geb\u00e4ude gefunden haben, werden Sie durch Schilder weitergeleitet.<\/p>\n

Die Ausstellung ist t\u00e4glich von Mittwoch, dem 14., bis Freitag, dem 16., von 14:00 bis 18:00 Uhr zu sehen und endet am letzten Tag um 18:00 Uhr mit der Podiumsdiskussion, an der einige der Designer*innen sowie ein Professor einer Universit\u00e4t aus Gaza teilnehmen werden.<\/p>\n

Week 1 of The Palestine Chronicles has arrived!<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week is centred around one event, but it’s a big one. The exhibition „Picturing Scholasticide“ documents Israel’s systematic destruction of the Palestinian education system, with Gaza as its focus.<\/p>\n

Thanks to @academicboycottnow , we are bringing it to Germany, and are honored to be the ones opening this moving exhibition.<\/p>\n

For further context and engagement, we are hosting a panel on Friday the 16th about the exhibition and how Palestinians in Gaza are resisting scholasticide.<\/p>\n

The panel is part of a two-panel series, with the second one focusing on the West Bank on the 30th of october – so stay tuned for that one as well.<\/p>\n

The exhibition and panel will both take place in the \u201cPlenarsaal\u201d in the AStA Building.<\/p>\n

There will be signs to guide you once you find the building.<\/p>\n

The exhibition will last from 14-18:00 every day from Wednesday the 14th until Friday the 16th, and wrapping up on the final day at 18:00 with the panel featuring some of the designers and a professor from a Gaza university.<\/p>\n
