Mx. Yaffa ist eine anerkannte Person mit Behinderung, die autistisch, trans, queer, muslimisch und indigene Pal\u00e4stinenserin ist und bereits zahlreiche Auszeichnungen f\u00fcr ihre wegweisende Arbeit in den Bereichen Vertreibung, Dekolonialisierung, Gerechtigkeit und die Fokussierung auf die Lebenserfahrungen derjenigen erhalten hat, die am st\u00e4rksten von Ungerechtigkeit betroffen sind.<\/p>\n

Mx. Yaffa ist Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrende der Muslim Alliance for Sexual and Gender Diversity (MASGD) sowie Gr\u00fcnderin mehrerer gemeinn\u00fctziger Organisationen und Gemeinschaftsprojekte.<\/p>\n

Mx. Yaffa wird \u00fcber ihre Werke \u201eLiving to 99\u201c und \u201eBe Better Broken\u201c sprechen und Ausz\u00fcge daraus vorlesen.<\/p>\n

\u201eLiving to 99\u201c ist ein Liebesbrief an diejenigen unter uns, die am Rande der Spiritualit\u00e4t stehen.<\/p>\n

Spiritualit\u00e4t existiert jenseits von Zeit und Raum. Wir sind dazu bestimmt, miteinander verbunden zu sein, doch unsere Verbundenheit wird oft verteufelt, entmenschlicht und auf diesem Weg bestraft.<\/p>\n

In \u201eLiving to 99\u201c erforschen wir Konzepte der Spiritualit\u00e4t \u2013 was es bedeutet, miteinander verbunden zu sein, mit Kollektivismus, Gemeinschaft, F\u00fcrsorge und dem verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit der Erde.<\/p>\n

Letztendlich bewegen wir uns darauf zu, unseren Lebenszweck als Menschen voll und ganz zu beanspruchen.<\/p>\n

\u201eBe Better Broken\u201c ist eine wichtige Essaysammlung und ein Leitfaden f\u00fcr alle, die sich dem Faschismus widersetzen.<\/p>\n

Sie w\u00fcrdigt und ehrt diejenigen an vorderster Front als traumatisierte Menschen, deren Arbeit uns weiter traumatisiert, w\u00e4hrend wir uns nach Ver\u00e4nderung sehnen.<\/p>\n

Ihre B\u00fccher sind ein Aufruf, Verantwortung f\u00fcr unser Leben und unsere Rolle beim Aufbau einer kollektiv befreiten Welt zu \u00fcbernehmen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Queer liberation: Talk with Mx. Yaffa<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mx. Yaffa is an acclaimed disabled, autistic, trans, queer, Muslim and indigenous Palestinian individual who has received multiple awards for their transformative work around displacement, decolonization, equity, and centering the lived experiences of individuals most impacted by injustice.<\/p>\n

Mx. Yaffa is the Executive Director of Muslim Alliance for Sexual and Gender Diversity (MASGD), as well as the founder of several non-profits and community projects.<\/p>\n

They will be talking about and reading excerpts from their works \u201cLiving to 99\u201d and \u201cBe Better Broken\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cLiving to 99\u201d is a love letter to those of us at the margins of spirituality.<\/p>\n

Spirituality has existed beyond time and space. We are meant to be connected, yet our connection is often demonized, dehumanized, and punished along the way.<\/p>\n

In Living to 99, we explore concepts of spirituality-what it means to be connected to one another, to collectivism, community, care, and stewarding the land. Ultimately, we move toward fully claiming our purpose as humans.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe Better Broken\u201d is a vital essay collection and guide for everyone resisting fascism.<\/p>\n

It recognizes and honors those on the front lines as traumatized people doing work that further traumatizes us as we yearn for transformation.<\/p>\n

Their books are a call to claim responsibility for our lives and our roles in building a collectively liberated world.<\/strong><\/p>\n
