\n\ud83d\udcdcLecture & Discussion: Are we already living under fascism?\ud83d\udcdc<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nTuesday, 06.10.2026 | 12:00 noon | GalileA FU Berlin, Otto-von-Simson-Stra\u00dfe 26, 14195 Berlin<\/div>\n<\/div>\nDirections: U3, Bus 110 Freie Universit\u00e4t | Bus M11 Hittorfstra\u00dfe<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\ud83d\udce3\u00a0 Call to action: https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Ddzb6yXkZCG\/<\/a> – @svu_berlin<\/div>\n<\/div>\n#b0610 #SVUBerlin #Lecture<\/div>\n<\/div>\nRepression and racist incitement: Are we already living under fascism?<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nLecture and discussion at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe shift to the right in Germany is impossible to ignore:<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nWhilst Saxony-Anhalt faces the threat of an AfD government, the CDU continues to incite hatred against migrants, labelling them so-called \u2018problems in the urban landscape\u2019.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nWith turnbacks at German borders and deportations to Afghanistan, the federal government already appears to be implementing the AfD\u2019s racist immigration policy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nRepression of the freedom of demonstration and assembly is also steadily increasing:<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nbrutal police violence at pro-Palestine demonstrations is the rule rather than the exception, and even underage school pupils demonstrating against rearmament and compulsory military service are being arrested.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nIn light of these developments, many are asking themselves:<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nAre we not already living under fascism?<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nIn this talk, we want to discuss what exactly fascism actually is \u2013 and why analytical clarity is important for us in order to combat it.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
