Am 2. November 1917 versprach Großbritannien mit der Balfour-Deklaration ein Land, über das es nicht rechtmäßig verfügen durfte – und ignorierte dabei das Selbstbestimmungsrecht der dort lebenden palästinensischen Bevölkerung.
109 Jahre später sind die Folgen dieses kolonialen Unrechts bis heute spürbar:
Vertreibung, Besatzung, Entrechtung und die Verweigerung palästinensischer Selbstbestimmung.
